Innovative design

The cube is a conventional installation in an innovative design version. The construction is more compact because of the integration of several components and the pumps are the most energy efficient in the market. With this design we save both space, weight and energy compared to the standard two / three pump systems in current high rise applications.

The Hydro-Unit Cube has the unique feature that it can be placed both on the ground as mounted on the wall. The AC power plug connection makes installation of the unit a matter of minutes.

The Cube design is available in a limited number of countries and comes in a standard, a high efficiency (HR) and a frequency controlled (FR) configuration

Conventional Design

Stainless steel is standard

Though every application needs it’s own solution, quality and durability are common criteria. Different than cast iron, stainless steel does not corrode after a period of inactivity. Therefore, DP-Pumps’ standard systems are all equipped with stainless steel DPV(S) pumps, headers and couplings.


Hydro-Unit HR: extremely energy efficient

Saving energy is gaining importance. Not only to reduce costs, but also to care for the environment. DP-Pumps sets an example in the booster system market with the introduction of the Hydro-Unit HR. 

This booster system saves up to 60 % of energy

The booster system is equipped with a membrane tank that stocks water during run time. This prevents the pumps from running when there is no water demand. As a result the system only runs for one third of the time compared to standard systems.


Hydro-Unit FR: efficient and silent

Frequency controlled booster systems are energy efficient. Pumps are ramped up and down in proportion to the demand of water, resulting in energy savings up to 25%. Besides, as pumps do not run on full speed continuously, less noise is produced.

The pumps in the Hydro-Unit FR system are being switched on and ramped up and down pump by pump according to water demand in stead of ramped up and down simultaneously. The advantage is a lower energy consumption as a result of optimized run time.

The average energy saving of the Hydro-Unit FR is 30%.
