Plain and effective
Quality of drinking water is very important. As with our eyes we can not see the difference between good and contamined water, DP pumps developed the WSD (Water Safety Detection) to monitor the water quality and the functioning of the system in general. The WSD detects the refreshment of water by registering the filling and draining of the membrane tank and the average ambient temperature in the pump room.
Applications
- Booster Systems (with a maximum of 3 membrane tanks per WSD-Control)
The WSD consists of three components:
- WSD-Control
Control unit to detect water-standstill over 24, 86 or 168 hours. Gives alarm or sends signal to BMS
- WSD-Sensor
Registers the filling and draining of the membrane tank. Gives a signal to the WSD control at every charge of the tank.
- Temperature Sensor. Measures the average ambient temperature in the pump room.
Communication
- Two potential free contacts
- Handling and adjusting settings manually
Menu
- Three green LEDs to indicate a regular refreshment of water
- One red LED to indicate unsufficient refreshment of water or an elevated ambient temperature
