DP-Pumps from Holland introduces the vertical pump DPV 85. The pump has a nominal capacity of 85 m3/h and a maximum head of 175 m. For 60 Hz pumps the nominal capacity is 102 m 3/h or 50 US GPM and the maximum head is 150 m or 492 feet. The DPV 85 is an extension of the vertical pump product line DPV. As numerous options are available, the pump has a wide application range and can be perfectly suited to fit in any system.
The DPV comes in three versions. The DPVC 85 has a cataphoretic coated cast iron suction/discharge casing and motor bracket, making it suitable for process and irrigation water. The DPV and the DPVS respectively have cast stainless steel AISI 304 and AISI 316 casings. The use of cast material makes the pump extremely solid and durable. The standard pressure class of the DPV 85 is PN 40.
The hydraulic part of the pump is in stainless steel AISI 304 (DPV and DPVC 85) or AISI 316 (DPVS 85). The latter can be applied in the food, process, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The temperature range covers -30 °C up to 140 °C (-22 °F up to 284 °F).
The maximum efficiency of the DPV 85 is 81%, which is one of the highest in the market. By applying reduced head impellers, the pump pressure can be easily adapted to the required pressure. This ensures that the pump runs as near as possible to the required duty point.
Pumps are equipped with an easy access seal as a standard. Cartridge seals are optional. Both suction/discharge casing and motor bracket are equipped with two multi-purpose connections, that can be used for priming and draining the pump, as well as for measuring or connecting a by-pass.
The standard electric motor is a two pole motor with improved efficiency. When a maximum life span is required, a four pole motor is available as an option. A wide range of motors is available.
The DPV 85 will be available as from September the 1st. The official launch will be at Aquatech, Amsterdam, which will be held from September the 30th until October the 3rd in Amsterdam, Holland.
