Stainless steel for durability

Equal to the other pumps in the DP-Pumps product range, all wetted parts of the DPU are made of stainless steel for a long life. Heavy sheet metal is used for the impellers to make them resistant to the wear caused by sand. The DPU can handle clean, low viscous, non-aggressive liquids. The DPUS is made of high grade stainless steel AISI 316 and can handle more aggressive liquids

Innovation

The Dutch company extended their machine park with the latest laser welding technology, to manufacture an innovative impeller and stage casing. With this hydraulic assembly, optimized for application with frequency converters, the pump reaches a maximum efficiency rate ranging up to 80%. The DPU realizes, depending on the number of stages, a maximum pressure of 730 m / 2395 feet and a maximum capacity of 93 m³/h/ 410 GPM. The pump is available in both 50 and 60 Hz versions.

Applications

The DPU is designed for well diameters of 150 mm (6”) or more, supplying fountains, irrigation systems, general water supplies and sprinkler systems with water. However, the DPU is also applicable in horizontal installations, as for example in cooling water circulation systems and other industrial applications. The pump can be adapted to a range of pipe dimensions, because it is geared with adapters for easy fitting.
